Chase's High School Tennis goes to State

Chase's high school Wakeland High is only in it's second year. They opened last year with only three grades and so this year is the first year with all four grades. Hence the fact that their tennis team went to state was a pretty big deal. Four of their top six boys are freshman and in fact their top two players are freshman. So...we are hoping that by the time these boys are freshman they will really rule the state. They did well, finishing up as 10th overall in the state. They got a bummer first draw and had to end up playing the state champs for the past 7 years or something like that first go around, so they lost and then automatically had to go into the "consol" round.

Jeff and I traveled down there to Waco with the team as did quite of the few of the parents and it was fun to see their team bond and enjoy each other and compete.

Also, check out Chase on this recuiting site. He has a long way to go, but it's fun to see him on it. He jumped up quite a bit in his Texas ranking just this month so it's fun to watch.
